You can edge by using an edging shovel or even a spade..lay out your bed and cut a 4″ deep edge right into the ground. When you mulch or put your stone in..don’t feel the edge up the whole way. I prefer to edge right into the ground or a cut stone border

I don’t know if you had bought an edger yet but, the WorxGT is a great invesment! It is cordless (eletric battery) the double helix line is real strong and if you use it against concrete and it still rips, no worri it gives out line automatically to the perfect lenght, and you get the line for free for life!!! And it is a weeder and edger all in one.

  4. frank19593 says:

Thanks for the advice, but it would it not look better and more uniform and regular if the top edge was even?

  5. mpat1980 says:

a rabbit or guinea pig. don’t cost much at the pet store and they’re fun. just fence them in somehow and let them out in the days. they keep it a nice length

  6. lilchevy96 says:

if the concrete is leel go out and invest in an eger. you could pick one up at the home depot or sears.

  7. 318r3c08 says:

im afraid it might break if it hit the concrete. im tryin to cut the edge of the lawn that is surrounded by concrete. i dont want to break the thing if it hit the concrete

  8. lilchevy96 says:

yes you could go to your local Home-Depot and buy yourself a weed wacker. you could even use the weed wacker to edge your lawn if you dont already have an edger.

  9. 318r3c08 says:

my lawn has concrete surrounding it but i can’t cut it with the mower because its too big to fit in there i have to cut it myself with scissors. that takes too much time and my hand would ache afterward. is there any kind of tool that can help me?

  10. bek12 says:

Put the edging in the ground so that it’s flush with the grass, and you won’t have to worry about trimming weeds.

Sorry, but that looks tacky. Clunky white rocks…. would have been better to put in a week barrier and let it have just a natural flow into the lawn.

    ANOTHER LESBIAN DO-IT-YOURSELF TIP

  22. bunnichello says:

bit of a bother to keep the grass neat that is next to the stone, I would use edging and sorry to say, the item just looks plonked in the garden, not, connected to anything…not to say it ain’t good, just not part of a bigger picture of a designed garden

  23. icutemall says:

How about natural edging, where you simply dig a trench to seperate your landscaping from turf area, nothing to buy. I have used it on brand new homes and it is a rave. drop off from the turf side at ninety degree and 45 off into your scape, lay weed barrier up to your ninety degree. you get the picture, simple, so simple you may think your doing it wrong.

  24. ROSCOANDBOPPERS says:

Hey this is a great video! keep all the edging the same. great piece of advice!! makes the yard look much better.
